Here's a subject that gets my panties in a wad... Dog Food.
What's wrong you say? Well I have a dog that is sensitive to "something" we still haven't figured out what that something is. I've tried 4 different dog foods this year (giving each time to work and not upset my dog's stomach etc) and all of them so far, have not eliminated the problem. Compound that by shopping around and looking for food and reading the labels ad nauseum, I get tired just thinking about it.
I tried Innova. That I thought was the best, but there is still something in there that is causing an allergic reaction. But first let's back up a bit. Anything at a grocery store is garbage. I go to Petsmart and I've bought just about any and everything.... all of it crap. And it is so frustrating to work with them because you really have to read what's on the label. I would say 90% or more of what they've got is the same garbage you can get at the grocery store.
I could buy something online, but that's expense and trouble I'm not willing to go through, it is after all, just a dog. Get pissed if you want to, but I'm trying to balance everything out. And in order of appearance, dog food is way down there. I just want a store that has a food that won't make my dog chew it's feet, that's all.
I happened to stop buy Pet Co. the other day and hope has fired anew. They have several different choices, holistic choices and maybe, just maybe one choice that won't make my dog break out. There is always something in each food that makes itself no better than feeding my dog Alpo. And with it costing more and more, I wonder if it would even matter.

Darling - go to www.GardensAlive.com and go to their section on Organic Pet Care. For $8.95 for a 1 lb bag, you only use 1-2 teaspoons over their food every day. It is supposed to fix those food allergies!
Now if they could only do something this cheap and simple for say, asthma.
I tried posting this earlier and got the weirdest msg - "You have done this before" - since WHEN does a computer get involved in my deja vu sequences????
It's not corn. Or at least I've eliminated corn. No wheat or soy either. It's something else, just don't know what.
Well, from what I've read, it does great on skin allergies and other stuff too... I've been ordering their stuff for 20 years, and have read their blurbs on it during that time. None of my pups have ever had a problem, so I haven't used that particular product...
Just a thought. There are a lot of processing agents in our food and especially our pet food now. Whatthehell, It beats boiling chicken and rice every night - for a dog! My Dad would laugh his A$$ off at me if I did that and he were still alive to see it!
