Catfish

I have a retention pond in my backyard. In it you find the typical things you'd find in this area... fish, turtles, alligators (sometimes), birds, and all manor of frogs. But now I'm wondering. I've seen a fish, like a catfish, but unlike one I've seen before. I've seen one like it last year, when we found one dead/half eaten. This time I seen it live and don't know what to think.

It's dark colored with white spots. Is this a normal/around here fish? Or is it possible it has been brought in by people... i.e. my neighbors? If anybody knows I would sure appreciate knowing too.

Might be a walking catfish. Or it might be a mutation courtesy of the SRP. Don't eat it - and don't let it eat you.
