I think this movie is one of those defining moments. It is so crazy, so over the top, and yet in the context of the day, it seemed like normal. Steve Martin plays Navin R. Johnson, a complete imbecile. He goes from rags to riches and back again. Bernadette Peters plays Marie, the romantic interest.
Watch this idiot make his way in the world, and wonder how the hell he does it. A side and completely unrelated note, I start my vacation today, and internet access will be spotty at best. I'll update when I can and I have some things already in line... "See" you in a week.
