Classic Film Friday: Cheech and Chong's Up in Smoke

It is hard not to say or think about Cheech and Chong and not think about how that era shaped me. What I'm saying is both of my parents smoked pot, a lot of pot, and did various other drugs too. They were not exactly "low key" about it either. But I think I was a better person for it... not saying my parents let me smoke it up next to them, because they didn't, but I grew up around drugs, and I'm no worse for wear because of it.

So look on this movie in the time it was made, and know that it was a comedy. And that is what I like about it. Yeah, I'm sure they had to get high for "research" but there is a lot that is spot on for the time. See if you agree...
